This is an exciting time for us at Grand Legacy At The Park! Transitioning from a franchise hotel to an independently owned and operated one is not an easy task, but well worth it in the end. It takes a great deal of resilience, hard work, and determination to pull off such a major switch. Today’s growing consumer preference is towards unique experiences and products, where authenticity trumps standardization. In the spirit of creating this one-of-a-kind experience, we offer special events including free poolside movie nights, arts and crafts for the kids and even pool parties in the summer! We have recently partnered with a new charity, My Day Counts, for all of your in-room coffee needs. We provide our very own Legacy Blend coffee from My Cup Counts in all guest rooms, so that morning cup of coffee during your stay will help to employ adults with disabilities at My Day Counts and to improve the quality of life. A new program is also being implemented that will provide our returning guests with special perks and incentives for their continuous loyalty. As with any other boutique or independent hotel, the goal is to create a more individualized experience for each guest while at the same time providing the consistency of a big brand.
Over the years, the growth of independent hotels has grown a great deal. Major brand and mid-size hotels have even begun to merge with independent hotel operators. The growth in these numbers is largely due to the change in travelers’ preferences when it comes to their hotel experience.
Travelers are moving away from major hotels and leaning towards a more unique stay at boutique/independent hotels. The large chain brands have restrictive rules and protocols, from which fruit to make available, down to something as small as how ice is served. This leaves little room for a more personalized stay for their guests. Travelers long for their chosen hotel to cater more towards their wants and needs. What is great about independent hotels is that they have the flexibility to provide special services compared to corporately-owned and operated ones. Consumers expect more from their hotels than the usual comfort and convenience, and here at Grand Legacy At The Park we intend to provide that extra level of care. We are very active in social media and thrive on contests and surveys that help us to exceed guest expectations and needs. Some of our surveys have included topics such as which movie should be shown at the next movie night, the preferred ingredients for the signature cocktail on our new rooftop, and which Disneyland Park ride do they want us to film that week. We enjoy listening to our consumers’ needs, and then taking the necessary action to make their dreams a reality!
Our objective is to provide our guests with a special experience that they cannot find anywhere else in Anaheim, Orange County and California. We have reinvested a great deal back into our hotel over the course of 3 years to renovate all of our current rooms and to add an additional tower, providing an even more luxurious stay for our valued guests. On top of the additional rooms and renovations, we are building a brand new breakfast room with a new and improved breakfast menu. Shortly, we will have a new spacious lobby along with new retail stores for all of your needs. Grand Legacy At The Park will also be opening, The Fifth, Anaheim’s only rooftop bar and lounge that can be found on our fifth floor. At The Fifth you will be able to relax after a long day at Disneyland and cozy up to a fire pit with drinks and tasty foods, all while watching the spectacular fireworks. These new and exciting changes are all to ensure that our guests are provided with an unforgettable family vacation experience. We look forward to welcoming you as our guest at the new Grand Legacy At The Park!
Excited to return with our family thus this has been our choice of hotel to stay over the pass 2 years!
