We have compiled our favorite Disneyland apps to share with you. Being a hotel across the street from Disneyland, you better believe we live and breathe Disney and these apps make life that much easier. Some show us the shortest wait time because we all know time is precious and some show us tidbits about Disneyland that we never knew! Read below to find out what each app does and why we love it.
1. Disneyland App – Hands down, the official Disneyland Resort app is the best app out there, with instant information on everything that has to do with the parks along with real time waits for all of the rides. Purchase your tickets through the app before you even get there. Forget the brochure map you get when you arrive, and use this app as your digital map. Even find out when the Disney Characters are appearing throughout the park, so you don’t miss your kid’s special encounter. PS – We are even on this app’s map!
2 MouseAddict – This is an interactive app for Disneyland and California Adventure, made for iPhone and Apple Watch. You can avoid the crowds with their traffic map that shows where to avoid the gridlock. If you are a planner, you can use their Tomorrowplan to see two months into the future on their guesstimate of crowds during your future visit. We love MouseAddict’s creative feature names and how user friendly they are. For example, the Addictmeter shows you at a glance how crowded the park feels.
3. Disneyland Secrets Gold – Are you the curious one? Do you like discovering new things or finding out the meaning behind something? If you answered yes to these questions and are a Disneyland lover, then this is the app for you! Discover over 120 Disneyland park secrets, with an easy search feature and over 100 original photos. This differs from the other apps in the fact that you do not need internet or WIFI to unlock these secrets.
4. Disneyland Inside Out – This app does exactly what the name says, it gives you the ins and outs of Disneyland with information on over 400 points of interest in the resort. Be in the know about every attraction, restaurant, and shop! You will be able to see a map with your current location, up-to-date news and information on the park, and even have the ability to connect with Facebook to share your amazing experiences with all of your friends. How cool is that?
