Irvine Park Railroad – 10th Annual Pumpkin Patch

By October 28, 2015Blog

If you are looking for a way to celebrate fall and enjoy the festivities, then Irvine Park Railroad is the perfect place to go with your family. The old fashion pumpkin patch will get your kids excited and thrilled for Halloween time! This is just one of the many attractions. They also have a moon bounce house, face painting, pony rides, cookie decorating, hay ride, train ride, John Deere tractor racing, carnival games, panning for gold, cookie decorating, haunted house and my favorite, the giant hay maze! They have so many activities that your kids will want a nap right when they get home.IMG_0485

When you go to Irvine Park Railroad, give yourself at least 30 minutes to park. Parking is $5 so make sure you bring cash. Once you pull in and park, take a deep breath in. It smells like…fall!

If you look around. you will notice that there are pumpkins everywhere! Find your favorite one and you can purchase it. Having the kids sit next to the pumpkin would also be a great photo for your scrapbook.

I would suggest that you walk around so you can see everything and then start having fun at all of the stations. There is so much to see and do before the day ends. Make sure you go to the balloon station so that you can take a souvenir home with you. There are also two food stands that make fresh popcorn and a gift shop. I decided to go for a pretzel and it was delicious!

FREE FUN! I am always on the lookout for free things! The hay maze is free and so exciting. If you are shorter than 5 feet tall, then this will be challenging and fun for you. It is such a playful maze that the kids love running around in and finding their way out.

There is also a hay ride that you can hop on for free! The driver has the biggest smile and the kids really enjoyed every moment while they were on the ride.IMG_0484

Overall Irvine Park Railroad has such a great vibe for families. This place should be on your bucket list this fall! The pumpkin patch will be open until October 31st, 2015, so make sure you head over there before the month ends.

Something that not everyone knows is that you can download a coloring page off the Irvine Park and Railroad website and have your child color it and they will receive a sweet treat when you bring it to the train station.
