As we all know, Disneyland’s 60th Anniversary Celebration is going to be coming up in just a few weeks. Friday May 22nd will be the kickoff, with Disneyland staying open for 24 hours! That’s right, starting on Friday, the park will open at 6:00 a.m. and will stay open until 6:00 a.m Saturday! The first weekend of this celebration is definitely going to be an amazing time to visit all of the new attractions and events, but what exactly is the 60th Anniversary Celebration bringing to us? To start off, there’s going to be an exciting new firework show called “Disneyland Forever”. This show is going to immerse the crowd by projecting images on all of the surrounding buildings. You will be able to experience the magic all around you!
Take a trip next door to California Adventure and you will find that it’s getting something new too. “World of Color – Celebrate! The Wonderful World of Walt Disney”, is the same great World of Color, but with a whole new theme! It will take you on a journey through time and explore the imagination of Walt Disney and how his dreams came to life through his characters and stories, and in Disneyland itself.
How can we forget the New “Paint the Night Parade”? Get ready for 1.5 million LED lights to shine all over and dazzle the crowds in a way like never before! Disneyland is known for captivating people with their parades, and this one is going to shine above the rest!
